 My T-Tapp Journey

 

Before & After T-Tapp

 

T-Tapp is a name that brings a smile to my face. T-Tapp is the workout that works and I can give credence to that!!!

In my journey to become healthy I found a phenomenal workout program. It is called T-Tapp, developed by an exercise physiologist, Teresa Tapp.

It uses 5 – 7 muscle groups at one time. In normal exercise programs you use 2-3 muscles.

It is great for busy moms. No traveling back and forth to the gym. You can do it in the privacy of your own home in four square feet of space with no equipment.

 

Teresa Tapp knows what suffering and pain is all about which is what led to her developing this program. It started at the tender age of five. She lost her mom who was twenty-nine at the time to brain cancer. Her mom endured four operations and two years of grueling chemotherapy and radiation. Teresa spent much of her early childhood hanging out in hospitals because of her moms illness. Watching her mom suffer gave her a desire of becoming a doctor when she grew up in hopes of finding a cure for cancer.
Because of the loss of her mom it gave Teresa insight into wellness. She recognized the importance of listening to and taking care of her own body.

She has come to learn that for every negative there is a positive.

 

When Teresa was in high school during gym class she fell off the balance beaFit & Fabulous in 15 Minutesm. As a result she chipped three vertebrae in the mid-lumbar region of her back. Having scoliosis since childhood, along with the back injury left her in great pain at times. The doctor recommended bed rest.  She listened to her inner voice instead that she needed to move her body to get relief. After many weeks of experimenting with all kinds of muscle movements she discovered exercises that would alleviate her back pain. She also discovered she shrunk several inches in the process.

What has T-tapp done for a 57 year young person?

  • I have lost over 75 inches, four dress sizes and more than 40 lbs.
  • I have an under active thryoid , insulin resistance issues, and adrenal issues. All of these issues have been improved through doing T-Tapp.
  • I have also been able to decrease my dose of thyroid medicine twice thanks to T-Tapp.
  • It has greatly helped my insulin resistance issue and I have a lot more energy.
  • On a recent 60 Day Challenge I worked out using the Healthy Hormone Menopause Management. It greatly helped my adrenal and thyroid issues. I lost over 25 inches!

 

 

I have tried a lot of exercise programs. Most of them left me dragging because of my adrenal issues. T-Tapp makes me feel invigorated and is something I will and can do the rest of my life. Berei who is on some of Teresa’s videos with her is still T-Tapping and will be 89 in August. :)

I was grateful to be a category winner in the “60 Day Challenge” in 2012.  I lost more than 38″ in 60 days.  As a result I was able to go to Safety Harbor, Florida, for the annual T-Tapp retreat and work out with Teresa herself and her staff,  and meet the other women in the T-Tapp community.

It was a blessing meeting Teresa, her staff, the trainers and all the wonderful women in the T-Tapp community. Their enthusiasm, encouragement, and support for one another is so contagious.

I have tried every exercise program imaginable. Most of them left me dragging because of my adrenal issues. T-Tapp makes me feel invigorated and is something I will do the rest of my life.
