When I first saw Make Over Your Mornings Online Course I thought it was another course on getting organized and that obviously it was for moms with young children.  I never thought it was for seasoned moms with an almost empty nest like me.

A Tribute To My Dad - Facing Death

A few months ago on March 2, 2015 I woke up to face the day and was  very down and weepy. I went to do my “quiet time” and I realized the day was March 2nd. It was the 25th year anniversary of my dad passing away suddenly. It was very painful even though it was 25 years ago.

I think of the many fond memories I have of my dad. Memories that will be forever etched in my mind.

My dad loved snow and we had such fun sledding down the hill by our house with our “flexible flyers”. I can still here his voice as he would call me up after I moved away from home and say, “It’s snowing here.” We would reminisce about the good times we had in the snow. Every time it snows I can’t help but think of him.

“And They Lived Happily Ever After” & Book Giveaway!


Happily Ever After

The movies, media,  and culture gives us the idea that when two people marry they live “happily ever after.” I can still see Cinderella’s carriage as she and her Prince drive away. I can see the sign on the back of the beautiful carriage, “And they lived happily ever after.” Being a new believer when I got married I truly thought marriage would be easy. After all you had two believers coming together. LOL!
